OUR PEOPLE, THE ENEMIES WITHIN

Father's Day celebration: Edo deputy governor, Shaibu tasks Buhari's on unification of Nigeria

By Chris Tony Akhabue Edo State deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, yesterday, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to use the father's Day celebration to unify the country and save it from further disintegration. He made the call while serving as the Chief Man Servant at the St. Paul Catholic Church, airport road Benin to mark the Father's Day celebration. Shaibu said that when the president and other state governors act as fathers in their respective states, by making the right policies, speaking the right words, it would engender peace, unity and growth and the nation at large would benefit from it. The author of the book, Honourable Victor Osobase Emuakhagbon, the immediate past local government Chairman of Esan South East Local Government area of Edo state noted  that he decided to write the book to serve as a guide to the younger generation  to know that to whom much was given, that much was also expected. He pointed out that, that was the reason why he started the book with his humble beginning, his early life struggle to become what he is today.
