Armed Fulani Herdsmen Invades Isi Community In Uhunmwonde
A group of Fulani herdsmen reported to be fully armed with guns and machetes has invaded Isi community in Uhunmwonde Local Govt. Area of Edo state. The incident was confirmed by team of investigative journalists on Sept. 10th 2022. An elder in the community, Mr. Akusu, regretted that, one Mr. Iruemwense Osagie ( retired Journalist ) and his wife were killed alongside with scores of others, when the gunmen invaded their farms in the morning hours of Sept.9th, 2022 . When the late Mr Iruemwense Osagie was a practicing Journalist, he writes critically on the deadly attacks by the Fulani herdsmen against farmers and the deplorable security situation and Government's insufficient efforts towards protection of lives and properties in the state.
