Edo LP Exco Suspends Murphy Paul Imasuen

The Edo state Labour Party Chairman, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi has said that 
Murphy Paul Imasuen has been suspended from the party.

He made the declaration in a Press briefing attended by the state executives today at the party secretariat in Benin city, the Edo state Capital.


According to Comrade Ogbaloi, the state executives have met to review it's activities and resolved that the party can no longer accommodate the anti party activities of Mr Murphy Paul Imasuen and has consequently resolved to suspend him from the party.

"The state exco met to review it's activities and take reports from the state working committee  (SWC) on the day to day running of our great party and immediately before it was the continued intransigence of Mr. Murphy Paul Imasuen and his collaborators, against the party he called his own, the exhibition of alien rascality, dangerous exhumation, that has crystalized him as a nonparty man, unyielding attitude to reasonable persuasions, gross insubordination to legally constituted authority of the party, reckless publications of party policy issues, without due authorization and deep participation in the recent infringement on the party, created unintelligently by Apapa Lamidi, a tragic power seeker of a mean nature, all these inspite of unparallel resilience deployed by the party, especially at the state level, exco became considerably constrained to co-inhibit further with these characters in the same confines, and resolved therefore that Mr. Paul Murphy Imasuen is suspended indefinitely from Labour Party. 

"Others suspended from the party along with him are Mr. Ikuoyemwen Ehiwe, Mr. Jegede Idemudia, Captain Oronsaye Augustine 

"Finally, party hierarchy gave no attention to an alleged outrageous social miscreant, Agho Blessing who incidentally we understood, is Mr. Murphy Paul Imasuen's mistress, because she is not a member of Labour Party.

The statement was jointly signed by
 both State Chairman, State secretary, Deputy state chairman, State publicity Secretary, Chairmen of Uhunmwode and Orhionmwon LGAs etc.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking. Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others.
