EDO STATE LABOUR PARTY MOURNS CHIEF DOKPESI...Dokpesi was a pride of Africa- Comr. Sam Uroupa
The State Publicity Secretary and image maker of the Edo Labour Party, Comrade Sam Uroupa, has said that the death of Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi came when he was needed most.
He made the declaration in a statement signed and made available to the press yesterday in Benin city the Edo state capital.
According to him, "the Edo State Labour Party mourns the death of Chief Remond Aleogho Dokpesi, Chairman CEO DAAR Communications PLC.
"Edo State has lost a media juganut. Chief Dokpesi was a pride to Africa, the black race and humanity in general.
" He was a voice to the voiceless and hope to the hopeless. It is most painful that at this trying times in Nigeria political history when his wealth of experience was needed most to shaping the political destiny of the country that the cold hands of death snatched him from humanity.
While condoling with the Dokpesi family of Weppa Wanno Kingdom, Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area, Edo State, Comr. Uroupa said the media mogul was an established business man of inestimable value, a philanthropist and community leader per excellence.
He further added that "the immediate and extended family, local government, State and the media industry in particular should please take solace in the Lord and prayed that the good legacies he left behind be sustained" the statement concluded.
