Pastor Azemhe Azena Harps On Spiritual, Financial Gains For Christians...Says Every Man Is A Product Of Gain

There was a great revival and the moving of the spirit, as some businessmen, women and traders and passers by in Cook Road, off Forestry road were filled with spiritual food coming from a man of God and a philanthropist, Pastor (Dr.) Azena Azemhe when he blessed the workshippers with the word of God.

The church programme which started with praise and worship witnessed a huge crowd who came to hear the son of Oracle, Apostle Johnson Suleiman.

Addressing the congregation, the guest speaker and a frontline aspirant of Labour Party in Edo state 2024 guberinatorial elections, Pastor (Dr.) Azemhe Azena, said as a Christian and believer, we must strive to make spiritual gains.

The labour party hopeful made the assertions in a one day revival program, with the theme:" In His Presence," in an event organized by the Edo state Christian Market Fellowship, Cookn Road chapter, Benin city, said every man is a product of gain.

Delivering on the topic entitled:" "I Must Make Gain", the philanthropist Dr. Azemhe Azena therefore listed the kind of gains as follows; financial , biological and spiritual gain.

He proceeded:" if God cannot bless you with gain, He cannot be part of it. Man is a product of gain. God made us so we can know him, and serve Him. Gain is a motivational factor. Gain brings expansion. Some people love you because of what they are benefiting from you.

"Most people have made financial gain, but their soul have not made gain. As a Christian believer, you must strive to make spiritual gain. ''For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses''. Mark 8:36," he posited.

Speaking on the essence of the church programme, the President of New Building Material Sellers Association of Edo state, Chief Chuwku Nonso Ibe, said, it is because of the church crusade they are organizing for the traders in the market.

" We came here today to close our business and trade to thank God for what he has been doing for us in Edo state. It is not easy to see the half year of 2023. We are happy and grateful to God. God says in the Bible that we should come together to praise and thank Him, because of His mercy, compassion and love for us. 

" God said if we thank Him, and we believed that as we thank Him, He is going to do more. The man of God that came to preach to us, the person of Pastor Azemhe Azena makes us feel happy.

" We are glad and honor for him to workship with us today . My members feel blessed for the preaching he gave to us. We often organized this crusade every three months for our members. "

When asked his view on Pastor Azemhe Azena aspiration for Governorship elections in 2024, Chief Chuwku Nonso Ibe said:" my opinion on that is that it is a great movement. 

"I am beginning to see men of God coming out to run for political leadership positions. a great idea for our political movement for the man of God to come to change our political space so that we can see the difference," Chief Ibe added.

Also speaking, the Vice President of New Building Material Sellers Association of Edo state, Engr. Osahon Gabriel, said the association has made it mandatory that every three months, they will close their businesses and glorify God.

Engr. Osahon explained that," today programme with the message was too awesome for having a great man like Pastor Azemhe Azena to come and Minister to us who is also known as the son of Oracle.

" Seeing him in our midst I will say the preaching and the prophecies were powerful and God's hand is with him. I see God through him and is a good one. We are really blessed.

Speaking on the area of Pastor Azemhe Azena going into politics, Engr. Osahon Gabriel said," no there is nothing wrong for him to go into politics. I had seen other men of God from other states going into politics.

" We have seen Rev. Fathers coming into politics. In Benue state, Rev. Father is a governor and he is doing well. By the grace of God, the narrative in Edo state has started changing. When you say politics is a dirty game now, we have pastors, priests from different denominations going into politics to change the narrative. 

" If you are really a Christian, it should be what we should key into. And Christianity should not stop you from going into politics. If you are a Christian and you are not a leader and we said Christ is our leader. then how are you now leading the people? 

" For me, it is a good one. The Christians should come out and support whichever priest, pastor or Reverend father coming out from any denominations. We should support them and lets see how the State is going to have a new breath," Engr. Osahon stated.

For Pastor Goerge Ijere Ogwo, the Coordinator General of the Christian Market Fellowship Cook Road chapter, said they have been praying for rain to stop so that rain will not disturb the church crusade. He thanked God that the programme is 100% successful and their prayers had been answered. 

"We will have another day of inviting him because his message was very powerful," he disclosed.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit.
