Edo deputy Speaker, Edeko congratulates Ojuromi Of Uromi Kingdom on his birthday



The Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Mrs.) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko Esq, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Anslem Odaloighe Edenojie II, JP, MFR, The Ojuromi Of Uromi Kingdom
on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

Edeko who represents the industrious people of Esan North East constituency 11 describes the Ojuromi Of Uromi Kingdom as a true Royalty, a distinguished Royal father and worthy ambassador of Esan land and the State.

In a statement personally signed by the deputy Speaker and made available to newsmen in Benin, Edeko thanked the Ojuromi Of Uromi for having the welfare of his subjects, Esan people & Edo people in general at heart.

She lauded His Royal Majesty for his commitment to the peace, stability, and development of Esan land and the state as a whole since he ascended the throne.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Esan North East constituency 11, I felicitate you on the celebration of your birthday.

“I pray Almighty God to continue to endow you with wisdom, good health and strength to continue to serve your people. Long May You Reign,"Edeko said.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking. Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others.
