ERNEST ABEGBE PAID CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF LATE CHIEF DR D.U EDEBIRI. OON THE ESONGBBAN OF BENIN KINGDOM.


A Frontline aspirant on the platform of Labour Party for the 2024 Governorship election, Hon Ernest Abegbe, over the weekend, paid a condolence visit to the Family of Late Esogbban of Benin Kingdom, Late Chief (Dr) D.U. Edebiri

Hon.Ernest Abegbe eulogizes Late Chief Dr D.U Edebiri, describing him as a man with a Heart of Gold, an Elder Statesman that Possess the quality of a Father to the good people of Edo State.

He said the passing of amiable Chief Edebiri at this time was a big loss not only to his family but to the entire people of Edo state in particular and Nigerian in general particularly now that his instructive counselling was most needed at a time when the nation is at its trying times.

He however prayed for the repose of his soul and prayed God to grant the family members, friends and associates of the quintessential chief the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss

Hon. Abegbe was accompanied by Labour Party Chieftains from Edo South, Prince Sunday Obasohan, Emmadonmuiny Emmanuel and other members of his Campaign team.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking. After defending his PhD Dissertation titled “Rainmaking and Control in Igbo African Medicine,” on Wednesday, he said Africa possesses enormous resources and value which have been eroded by colonial powers. Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others. A few arrests, according to reports, have been made, and laboratory testing of seized samples revealed high acid content, and other substances believed to cause cancer. Market dealers and sellers have raised alarm over the fake and adulterated palm oil now selling in markets across Nigeria.
