Nigeria @63: Edo deputy Speaker congratulates Nigerians, urges prayers
The Deputy Speaker Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon (Mrs) Maria Edeko Esq. has congratulated Nigerians on the nation's 63 independence.

Edeko in a statement called for constant prayers from both Christians and Muslims for God to intervene in the numerous challenges confronting the nation.
She noted that, given the complexities of security challenges, economic hardship other aspects of national development, one could not but ask for prayers for Nigeria and Nigerians.
She said" as we celebrate Nigeria’s independence at 63, we must reflect on the urgent need to rebuild our Nation, firmly re-establish the rule of law in our country, the spirit of patriotism & inclusiveness.
" Nigeria, like other countries of the world, is passing through difficult times but we must remain resolute to rebuild our Nation.
The deputy Speaker, called for support for governor Godwin Obaseki led administration in the state, adding that, the governor had in the last seven years, reformed the various sectors; civil and public service, sports, Forestry, education, social welfare, Women inclusion in Governance etc;- the building bricks of any society.
