  The Candidate of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), in the just concluded Edo State governorship election, Patience Ndidi Key, has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was a notorious electoral fraudster who is well known as an electoral manipulator. A Benin High Court presided over by Honourable Justice Peter Akhihiero, has nullified the revocation of the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of parcels of land at Amagba village in Oredo Local Government Area, belonging to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, by the Edo State government.  The nullification order was given by the presiding judge while delivering judgment in Suit No:B/637/2021 instituted by Pastor Ize-Iyamu and I. O. Some women in Edo, under the aegis of "Edo Women" have called on Sen. Adams Oshiomhole to offer a public apology to the Obaseki's family over his childless comment on Mrs Besty Obaseki, wife of Edo Governor. The women made the call during a protest gathering led by Hon Maria Edeko, Deputy Speaker, Edo House of Assembly on Wednesday in Benin. Speaking on behalf of the women, Edeko called on Oshiomhole to offer a public apology to the women of the state, people of the state and humanity in general. She said " it is sad to see a person who has once governed the state condescend to this level. "It is a taboo, a sacrilege and desecration of Edo land to mock a woman or a couple for not bearing a child.  "Those who mock others for not having children yet could be described as one of the most ungrateful persons on earth.
