Your Tenure As Governor Will Take Edo State To New Heights Of Prosperity


The Ayobahan of Benin kingdom and Chief Executive officer, Bob Izua Conglomerate, Chief John Osamede Adun, has said that the victory and assumption of office of Monday Okpebholo as governor of Edo State will usher into Edo an unprecedented wave of development that would propel the state to new heights.

He made the observation in a congratulatory message signed and made available to the Press earlier today in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

According to the statement, I, the Ayobahan of Benin kingdom and Chief Executive officer of Bob Izua Conglomerate, Chief John Osamede Adun, heartily felicitate the newly inaugurated governor of Edo State, Governor Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa on the auspicious moment of your swearing in as the governor and deputy of Edo state respectively.

 "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, and his deputy Dennis Idahosa.

"Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving the people of Edo State have not gone unnoticed. Your victory is a pointer to your hard work and relentless passion for the betterment of our dear state.

"As you embark on this new chapter of your journey as governor and deputy respectively, may you be guided by wisdom, compassion, and integrity. May you lead with grace and humility, always keeping the best interests of the people at heart.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking.
