This year's   conference with the theme, ' HAVE FAITH IN GOD',  which  started on  Tuesday, the 18th of January through to Monday the 24th January 2022 at the Central Cathedral Complex, along Benin Agbor Road, Ohovbe quarters in Benin city withnessed a Marmont turn out of its ministers and adherents across the country. Speaking at the event, the Spiritual Head and the General overseer, the (Elect of God)  of the church, SNR Apostle, (Dr) David E. O. By Ehichioya Stephen Odion The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki today swears in the newly appointed 13 Permanent Secretaries and charged them to be diligent in their duties. He disclosed that all the Permanent Secretaries deserved their appointments as they are all qualified for the positions. He further said that gone were the days when appointments were made through god fathers without proper screening of candidates, adding that this period, due process were followed as they all went through test and they came out based on merit. He said therefore, he has no doubt that they will deliver in their duties. He said the state government were building the entire structures of the Civil Service, adding that that was the reason we now have 24 hrs electricity supply at the secretariate and other government establishments so that work  could go on in a very conducive environment. In a few months from now, the tenure of the present elected Nigerian Government officials  would come to an end.  Stakeholders and interest groups are already taking stock of the period under review  to access and evaluate how well or otherwise the outgoing officials have performed.  It is a period  for stocktaking and a time to  shop for replacements.
