APC, PDP, Bad Products That Must Be Discarded

The National Chairman of Labour Party, Barr Julius Abure  has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  were  like bad products  that must be thrown away.

Barr. Abure  made this disclosure while addressing party faithfuls in an event held in Benin City yesterday to appreciate leadership of the party and various support groups and every member that  made the rally a success.

He said that those who benefited in the struggle to enthrone democracy and the rule of law where those bent on truncating the Labour Party's rally in Benin City.

He said, " those our enemies who benefited from our struggle for the enthronement of democracy and the rule of law where the ones bent on truncating our planned rally in Benin City on the 11th of November".

According to him," we applied for the use of the Samuel Ogbemudian  Stadium for the rally, they denied us, and they went ahead and planned to block us from having any venue for the rally. They denied us the use of the Museum ground, we went to the UBTH ground and they went behind and blocked the chances. We went to the UNIBEN Sports ground, the enemies went behind and blocked us."

" I must therefore appreciate the management of Baptist Convention for availing us the use of their halls and the ground for the rally which turned out to be the best so  far in Nigeria."

While addressing the gathering, he said it was only instructive to discard a bad product that was initially purchased to be used but  found not to be good.

"APC and the PDP are like purchased bad products that must be thrown away outrightly since they have become valueless"

He said the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party are the cause of the hunger in the land.

" The PDP and the APC are the reason why there is so much hunger, insecurity and unemployment in the land, therefore like bad products,we must throw them out and enthrone the best alternative which is the Labour Party with its flag bearer, Mr Peter Obi."

He thanked the party leadership, the various support groups and every member of the party for making the rally a success which he pleaded with them to translate to victory come 2023, he concluded.

Speaking with the press at the event,  Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi, the Edo State chairman of Labour Party said that the refusal to approve the use of public facility because of Party differences was unacceptable.

According to him, " we have been so reduced to a level of refusing  citizens  of the use of  public facility built with the hard earned money of the very people irrespective of party affiliation. We have therefore decided to double up our efforts to work harder to ensure we deliver on what we desire to do in government when we come in 2023" he concluded.

Also speaking with the Press at the event, Mr Peter Omorogbe, the candidate for the House of Assembly for Ovia South West said his that his representation at the house, when elected would ensure that all budgeted money for development are judiciously used for the purpose they are meant.

According to him,
"my representation would ensure probity and accountability by making sure that all money meant for development are judiciously utilised for the purpose such money are meant for."

The Canadian based Real Estate guru further stated that there was  no maintenance culture in the country adding that he would ensure that his representation will inculcate  maintenance culture so that  infrastructure are maintained regularly instead of waiting for them to degenerate  before seeking solution.

According to him, " for me, one of the things I would  do differently, is to ensure that our infrastructure are maintained early enough when little money can fixed them, not waiting until they degenerate where billions of Naira would be required  and I would make sure there is close monitoring to ensure that all contracts are monitored to ensure they are done to specifications he concluded.
