      The Obodeanokpella of Okpella, Chief Charles Adogah SAN has said that the appointment of Michael Sado as Okuokpellagbe was unlawful as he said it contravenes the laws of the land as it negates the Constitutional requirement as enshrined in the declaration of customary law regulating Succession made under section 8 of the traditional rulers and Chiefs edict of 1979. He made the observation while addressing journalists at the premises of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Edo State Council. Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking. After defending his PhD Dissertation titled “Rainmaking and Control in Igbo African Medicine,” on Wednesday, he said Africa possesses enormous resources and value which have been eroded by colonial powers. Warning: Adulterated Palm Oil Enters Markets, Dealer Shares Tips to Recognise Them

Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others. A few arrests, according to reports, have been made, and laboratory testing of seized samples revealed high acid content, and other substances believed to cause cancer. Market dealers and sellers have raised alarm over the fake and adulterated palm oil now selling in markets across Nigeria. According to reports, the product has already infiltrated markets in six states of Nigeria – Imo, Lagos, Yobe, Oyo, Ogun, and Plateau states – and is still spreading to other states.
