IS HE A KNOWN POLITICIAN?

The above apt and didactic quote by a Chinese philosopher and sage, Lao Tzu readily comes to mind to delineate the envisaged eventful epic trajectory of Dr DORRY Okojie in the saddles of governance in the annals of our socio political and economic history as a people of Edo state.
In response to some of my posts in some social media platforms of the assured preparedness of Dr DORRY Okojie's unflinching resolve to take Edo to greater glory as governor of Edo state come 2024, some enthusiastic, excited and inquisitive individuals who sought to know more about Dr DORRY Okojie, called me with barrage of enquiries which are indicative of Dr DORRY's rapidly growing and glowing popularity and acceptance among the electorates.
" Is he a politician? One asked me.
Who is not a politician?, I asked him. But he is not known, he replied back.
I asked him, which is better? The known and over recycled political rogues who use all manner of unconscionable political brigandage and unethical means to get to power just to have access to the public till to build their business empires in far away lands, while the over traumatized masses are abandoned to wallow in abdject poverty created by the politicians' greed, criminal negligence and avarice without fulfilling their electioneering promises? Or, to support a decent and honest individual with proven track record of integrity and moral strength of character such as exemplified by the personable and amiable conduct and dispositions of Dr DORRY Okojie who braced every storm and pushed barriers and boundaries to build sprawling business empires from the scratch even though he is not as known in your sense of popularity as the much celebrated kleptomaniac politicians?.
Like water trapped in sedimentary rock,so is ethical values and principles are intrinsic distinctiveness of Dr DORRY AFE Okojie, who inspite of his intimidating credentials and achievements, remains resolutely unpolluted by the allures of today's world.
Rather, he is resiliently and irrevocably undiluted, humble and humane, like the ordinary man on the street but disguised in brawns and brains
Every living being is a politician. It is only a dead man or a fool that is not interested in who governs him.
Dr DORRY Okojie is not the typical Nigerian politician who plays politics with virtually everything including lying to achieve selfish desires that has no bearing with public good. For those meeting with DORRY for the first time, let me guide you. One lie or a dishonest act is enough. He is done with you. So, be prepared because he can't stand lies. This exude from his interactions and dispositions.
The hood they say, does not make any one a monk . So, you don't need to be a professional politician to be a good administrator of human and material endowments for which Nigeria and Edo are immensely blessed with. What is required is an honest individual with the heart for the job, a man ready to be subservient to the people and not to political leaders who are after their stomach infrastructure.
Dr DORRY Okojie's overriding interest in Osadebay avenue is not personal but for the public good which is aimed at harnessing the available potentials and resources to build sustainable legacies through a carefully planned out 6 points agenda of implementable goals which include but not restricted to these, Agriculture , Security, Health, Education, Infrastructure and Job Creation
HEALTH, etc.
It is a fact known the world over, that our 3 basic and fundamental needs as humans are food, shelter, security and these three are so mixed, mingled and entwined that we can not straightly think of one without the other and Dr Dorry
acknowledges the pride of place of these basic needs in the lives of his people which successive governments have disdainfully treated with levity.
So, basically, the Dr DORRY's narrative is set to replicate the fable of the pot of soup made from the beak of an eagle which turned out tastefully delicious. One wonders therefore, how awesome it would be when the whole body meat of the eagle is deployed for preparation of a bigger pot of soup for the nourishment of all.
He has not benefitted from any government patronage in form of contract, or political office, yet, has done so much brilliant philanthropy for the benefit of the people . It would certainly be a replication of the tale of the eagle's pot of soup when he debuts dispensation of people centric leadership at the seat of power at Osadebay avenue come 2024.
