It is a popular saying that the only mistake we make in life is the one from which we learn nothing.

 Ironically, and paradoxically too, most of our leaders and the electorates have, unfortunately, not been able to learn much from repeated mistakes made by successive governments and the electorates themselves .

Past leaders repeatedly starved and failed the electorates by breaching their electioneering promises of provision of dividends of democracy so much so that the people have ultimately lost confidence in most of our politicians.

The nature of democracy is that it has a way of throwing up wrong and clueless individuals without the basic knowledge in human and material management in public offices as a result of the mistakes the electorates make through wrong choices

This scenario has been a recurring feature in our polity and has been the leading cause of gross under development of human and infrastructural development.

Edo 2024 election is around the corner as the tenure of the present administration of Godwin Obaseki draws close and the state's electorates have come to realize that the development of the state begins with the right choice of governorship candidate. 

In the light of the above, Edo electorates who have been yearning and clamouring for a compassionate and visionary leader with clear cut and people-- oriented action plans as catalyst for socio economic growth have found a man with a midas touch who is evidently capable and willing to steer the ship of our collective fortunes to harbor of safety. 

The people have realized that the best way to predict the future growth and development of Edo is to create it, and to create it is to follow a leader, a leading light with foresight and hindsight who has studied where and how we have failed in the past and has carefully carved out a blueprint of the roadmap for the glorious revamping of the future that we desire and rightly deserve.

He once said that most great things achieved are those things, though may appear small, are things done credulously, meticulously and conscientiously well.

Dr Dorry Okojie is like coconut. Hard looking. Most often times not smiling. But great, gentle and full of compassion inside.

Coconut is not a river, but embellished with lot of water and sweetness inside. Dr Dorry is like coconut. Brains , brawns, and sweetness.

Yes, like coconut, Dr Dorry Afe Okojie carries an expressionless mien but inside him flows a well of unpolluted human compassion. He says leadership is all about service delivery for the people. He is a leader ready to serve and not to be served 

He has been able to demonstrate capacity and the prerequisite pedigree in building his business empires from scratch to an enviable height.

It is only reasonable and absolutely profitable to entrust the future of the state in the hands of someone like Dr Dorry Okojie who has studied our past struggles as a people and set out a working blueprint to fast track a sustainable socio economic growth of our dear state.
