LP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN BARR. JULIUS ABURE NOT ARRESTED - Sam Uroupa

The publicity Secretary and Image maker of the Edo State labour party, comrade Sam Uroupa, has said that the rumours trending on some social media platforms to the effect that the national leader of labour party is under arrest is mere falsehood devoid of an iota of truth.

He made the declaration in a release signed and made available to the Press earlier today in Benin city the Edo state Capital.

While reacting to the trending information on social media, he said, " the rumor is false and unfounded, and only the figment of the imaginations of the writers.

" I have just spoken with our National Chairman of the Party on phone and he is presently right in his duty post diligently discharging his constitutional duties without any form of hindrance.

He further added that, " Labour Party in Nigeria is the emerging largest political party in sub Sahara Africa and its National Chairman Julius Abure is a perfect gentle man without blemishes and skeleton in his cupboard who has been able to nurtured and grow the party to global prominence with utmost integrity humility and diligence.

"We wonder why the Mudslingers and rubble rousers like Mr. Curtis Eghosa Ugbo and his cohorts are deliberately hell bent on denting the impeccable and perfect credentials of Barr. Julius Abure which he built over the years on the foundation of honesty, integrity and diligence.

"We therefore, would want to use this medium to urge our party members and numerous supporters to disregard the blantant lie as it the figment of the imagination of some confused individuals with the intent to deliberately mislead the public", the statement concluded.
