The Obodeanokpella of Okpella, Chief Charles Adogah SAN has said that the appointment of Michael Sado as Okuokpellagbe was unlawful as he said it contravenes the laws of the land as it negates the Constitutional requirement as enshrined in the declaration of customary law regulating Succession made under section 8 of the traditional rulers and Chiefs edict of 1979. Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others. A few arrests, according to reports, have been made, and laboratory testing of seized samples revealed high acid content, and other substances believed to cause cancer. Market dealers and sellers have raised alarm over the fake and adulterated palm oil now selling in markets across Nigeria.
