Edo2024: Beyond Social Media Razzmatazz

One of the ways to measure a man's commitment to a project is the extent to which he is matching his words with actions.

Intentions are very easy to declare even as words are so cheap to pour out. It is at the point of action, a man's seriousness is determined and ascertained.

I have heard people complain about the deluge of declaration of intentions by increasing number of aspirants for Edo2024 . For them, it portrays unseriousness, especially from Edo Central, which , in harmony with the requirements of fairness, equity and justice, should produce the next Governor.

My response has been that a clearcut dichotomy exists between fantasy and reality.

Most of what I have been seeing have not gone beyond social media improbable mental images expressed in graphics by most aspirants. They are still working within the realm of fantasy. And the social media provides a fertile ground for the flourishing of fantasy and illusion.

To our great relief and Glory to God, Dorry Okojie is one aspirant that has scaled the fence of fantasy and moved into the domain of action in his intention to join the Edo 2024 governorship contest. Beyond social media razzmatazz , his billboards have been and are being mounted in strategic positions all over the State.

This shows seriousness and a formidable proof of his readiness for the contest.

He has also established contacts throughout the State. 
The next stage is meeting with local government leaders of his party.
Everything is being meticulously planned out to be followed by diligent execution.

For us, we are delighted to have a man who knows what it takes to prosecute political ambition. And he has since been pushing the ambition practically, while results are fastly becoming visible.,

So, for those who are worried about the battalion of aspirants, and the prospects of the harm that may cause, I have the following as response.

Many are called but few are chosen.As the race gathers steam, some are likely to step aside for personal settlement.

At the beginning of any political race, there are some persons who indicate interest based on self- deceptive convinctions despite being contradicted by reality on ground.

The display of visionary fancy on social media platform should not be misconstrued for seriousness.

In the light of the foregoing, let's embrace it as a joint effort to support and encourage (Dr)Efosa Dorry Okojie , who has demonstrated in all ramifications, that he is ready for the race.

The Edo Labour Party Governorship Aspirants across the state have agreed to work together in a joint ticket arrangement.
