EDO 2024: COMRADE OGBEMUDIA OSAGIE JOINS GUBER RACE



The Protem Chairman of Ogbemudia Osagie Campaign Organization( OOCO) a political group which supervises the activities for the election bid of Comrade Ogbemudia Osagie, Chief Reuben Aizenabor has said that Comrade Ogbemudia Osagie has all the attributes to be the next governor of Edo state.

This was contained in a release signed and made available to the Press earlier today in Benin city the Edo state Capital.

According to Chief Reuben Aizenabor, " we would like to 
hereby inform you all about our moves to ensure the emergence of Comrade Osagie as flag bearer of LP and subsequently as governor of Edo State in the Edo governorship election.

He said that the decision was arrived at in a consolidated meeting consisting of Edo LP members and other supporters of Comrade Osagie, held in Benin City, the Edo state Capital which attracted the attendance of supporters from across the three senatorial districts and local government areas (LGAs) of the state where they adopted very useful strategies to achieve the election of Comrade Osagie. 

According to him,"all the attendees were and are determined to achieve the two steps of elections of Comrade Osagie, as governor of the state, knowing that he is well educated, groomed and has the physical and mental capability to be. 

"Besides, he has the youthfulness, charisma, doggedness and a noticeable shared love between him and the Edo people, to boost his brighter chances of winning the Labour Party primary and the proper general governorship poll. Particularly, LP, which is the dominant party in Edo state, as experienced by the last presidential election, could easily be favoured by Comrade Osagie, who as a youth, has something in common with them.

Comrade Osagie, a Nigerian patriot and philanthropist, a native of Uhi, in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State is said to be a security expert and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uhi Security Services Ltd, a worldwide outfit that has roots in Nigeria and Canada. a winner of several awards in Nigeria and overseas,

"Mr. Osagie is a fervent member of the Labour Party, known to have greatly assisted Mr. Peter Obi, the populist presidential candidate of LP in the last presidential election held in the country", the statement concluded

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking.
