Bendel Insurance Football Club Of Benin Defeated Abia Worriors


Bendel Insurance Football Club Of Benin has defeated Abia Warriors with a lone goal in match day 15 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The lone goal which brought victory to Bendel Insurance was scored by Evans Ogbonda five minutes into the match.

The game was keenly contested as both teams gave a good account of themselves, but Bendel Insurance FC had the day.

At the end of the match, the chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, Comrade Ambassador Festus Alenkhe presented a cash gift to the goal scorer Evans Ogbonda. 


Comrade Alenkhe who has been consistent with cash gift for the Bendel lnsurance team players said the essence of the cash gifts was to encourage players of Bendel Insurance FC to score more goals in order to come top in the league.
