Dorry Okojie To Combat Poverty Head-on

Nelson Mandela once said and I quote, " Poverty is not an accident, like slavery and apartheid, it is man-made and can be removed by the actions of human beings"

Poverty eradication from Edo state therefore demands a willing individual with the will- power to implement just and inclusive policies that are people centered tailored to mitigate poverty. Governments must prioritize in this regard, the equitable distribution of wealth and resources, avoid government criminal negligence , and address systemic issues that perpetuate poverty. 

This requires collaboration between various stakeholders, including governments, civil society organizations, and the private sector. By promoting social justice and inclusive policies, we can create societies where every individual has equal opportunities to thrive.

Poverty is not an inevitable fate but a consequence of societal structural negligence and it is within our capacity to dismantle it. By taking meaningful action, we can create a world where poverty becomes a thing of the past.

To alleviate poverty's immediate impact, social safety nets and welfare programs are essential. These measures provide a safety net for the most vulnerable members of society, ensuring their basic needs are met. Dr Dorry Okojie' intends to implement robust social welfare systems that encompass healthcare, housing, food security, and access to clean water.

His programs are designed in a way that empower individuals to regain control of their lives while receiving temporary assistance. These and many more are what Dr Dorry Okojie's proposed Government is bringing to the table when elected as the next governor of Edo state.

Let us therefore collaborate and nominate Dr Dorry Okojie for the 2024 Governorship election so as to eliminate poverty from our land.
