(Dr) Dorry Okojie, Labour Party Governorship Aspirant Greets Edo People at Christmas


A governorship aspirant on the platform of Labour Party (LP) for the Edo State 2024 election, (Dr) Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie has felicitated with Edo people on the celebration of this year's Christmas.

In a Christmas message to Edo people signed by the real estate mogul, Okojie noted that the Christmas celebration is the season of joy, peace and the sharing of love and charged them to reflect on the humility and symbolic birth of Jesus Christ and the message of hope it brought to mankind.

According to the statement, "I felicitate with our Christian brothers in Edo State as they join fellow Christians all over the world to celebrate Christmas.

"This is a special season to celebrate our togetherness, joy, peace and to share love with one another.

"I know that we are being weighed down by a lot of social and economic challenges, but let us reflect on the humble and symbolic birth of our Redeemer and the message of hope, compassion, salvation, reconciliation, forgiveness and peace that Jesus Christ embodies and conveys".

While urging the people to pray for peace ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Forbes award winner said, "As we move into 2024, a year of a crucial election in Edo State, let us pray that the peace which Jesus Christ brought into the world reign supreme in all our affairs during the electioneering, give the people the discerning mind to make the right choice that will usher a new era of progress into the state".

The Edo Labour Party Governorship Aspirants across the state have agreed to work together in a joint ticket arrangement.
