Edo Youths Urges Fr Obinyan To Declare Interest In Edo 2024 Governorship


Very Rev Fr. Dr. Andrew Obinyan has been described as humble, selfless and dedicated individual worthy of emulation who Edo State needs at this time to continue with the needed infrastructural development for the benefits of people, even as the youths and guests made passionate appeal to him to declare for the Edo 2024 Governorship race.
They made the exhortations and appeal at the 55th Birthday celebration of Fr. Obinyan, the Parish Priest of Saint Francis Catholic Church, Ekewan Road, Benin City,
According to them, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Andrew Obinyan is a community builder, always ready to assist those in need, humble and selfless man worthy of emulation, one who Edo State needs to kickstart its development.
In a worship mood, Fr. Obinyan offered thanks to God in celebration of his 55th birthday with Church members, friends and well-wishers.
In a short exhortation, Father Obinyan admonished all, especially the youths to serve God diligently so as to receive His divine upliftment.
The Birthday celebration which was attended by members of Saint Monica, Saint Patrick, Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students, Dynamic Sisters of Assemblies of God and other groups later moved to a reception where guests were entertained and took part in different games.
There was also an interactive session where some guests aired their views on topical issues and ways to ensure the growth and development of Edo State.
The Celebrant, Fr. Andrew Obinyan said he is elated and humbled by the show of love from guests and thanked God, for his blessings.
Highpoint of the occasion was a passionate plea by the guests, for the celebrant Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Andrew Obinyan to declare his intentions for the governorship race in Edo state.
