Festus Alenkhe Felicitates Edo Journalists On New Year Celebration


The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Dr Festus Alenkhe felicitates with the Edo state journalists as they celebrate the New year anniversary praying that God will continue to bless them with good health and sound minds and the strength to fulfill their professional duties with integrity and dedication.

This was contained in a statement issued, signed and made available to the Press earlier today in Benin City the Edo State capital.

According to him, "Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

" As we usher in the New Year, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all journalists in Edo State. By God's grace, we have journeyed through the past year, and we are grateful for His guidance and protection.

"We pray that the Almighty continues to bless us with good health, sound minds, and the strength to fulfill our professional duties with integrity and dedication. May He provide for our needs, ensuring that we and our families have sustenance and comfort.

"In times of challenges, we trust that God will grant us the resilience to overcome and emerge stronger. We also pray for unity and love among us, that we may work together harmoniously, setting aside any differences, and fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect.

"As we continue to serve as the watchdogs of society, may we be guided by truth, fairness, and a commitment to the ethical standards of our profession. Let us embrace the opportunities that this New Year presents, striving for excellence in our reportage and contributing positively to the development of our state and nation.

He concluded by wishing them 
a prosperous and fulfilling New Year.
