IKPOBA HILL YOUTHS FORUM HOLDS THANKSGIVING SERVICE, DONATES FOOD ITEMS, CASH, TO ORPHANAGE

In its tradition of maintaining excellence in social corporate responsibilities to the society and the less privileged, the youths of Ikpoba Hill, under the umbrella of Ikpoba Hill Youths Forum, over the weekend, donated food items and cash gift to Compassion Orphanage home in its fulfillment of the annual tradition of reaching out to the less privileged in the society.

According to the Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Kingsley Osemwin
gie, the gesture is to encourage the less privileged in the society to become whatever they wish to be in life 

" This is what we do every second week of every new year. This is how we like to start the year, to come here and pray with the children to ask God to bless Ikpoba Hill with peace all round the year. 
The gesture is also to remember the less privileged in the society and to encourage the children of the Orphanage to be of good behavior at all times.

"The gesture is to encourage you to be optimistic about life because I see in you great men and women who are the leaders of tomorrow. I see in you, intelligent children who will be great leaders of tomorrow and that is why we, on behalf of Ikpoba Hill Youths in Edo State and in the diaspora, we always come around every year to talk to you so as to encourage you to be optimistic about achieving your dreams and your heart desire in life because nothing can stop you if you don't limit yourselves.


" I wish you happy New Year and the continuous blessings of God all through the year and beyond. 

He advised the management of the Orphanage to make good use of the items supplied adding that the visit of the Forum to the orphanage this year was low key because of the fact that the Forum lost one of their members during the year. He reiterated that one of the cardinal objectives of the Forum was to continue to preach peace and to make sure peace reign in all the communities of Ikpoba Hill.

"I want to use this opportunity to specifically thank my helpers, my friends, business associates who are supporting my vision for Ikpoba Hill Youths Forum without which we would not have recorded the achievements we've made so far and I pray fervently to God to continue to guide you and to bless you with good health and long life, unrestricted favors, business breakthroughs through the year 2025 and beyond and I pray that your finances will continue to grow from strength to strength. 
While appreciating those supporting the vision of ensuring peace reign in Ikpoba Hill communities, he encouraged members of the larger society and other similar organizations in the society not to forget the less privileged, like the children in different orphanages in various communities, saying that most of those children in those orphanages are talented and that what they needed was just little encouragement to achieve their dreams. 

The children of Compassion orphanage home at Ikhueniro community at Ikpoba Hill, in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of the state who were visibly elated, prayed for good health for Ikpoba Hill Youths both those in Edo State and in the diaspora and also prayed for the thriving of their businesses .

The supervisor for the orphanage, Aunty Osayomore expressed her appreciation for the kind gesture and prayed for good health for all Ikpoba Hill Youths both at home and away adding that their finances will never run dry and that none of them will die young.

The thanksgiving service held at the Living Faith Church, Agbor Road branch, was to thank God for the peace all through Ikpoba Hill all through the year 2024 and to thank God for the expected greater peace in the year 2025 and beyond 

While praying to God to continually bless Ikpoba Hill communities and the Youths with peace that passeth all understanding, the Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church, aka, Winners Chapel, Agbor Road branch, Pastor Emmanuel Adeoba, 
 also extolled Ikpoba Hill Youths Forum for honoring God by coming to show appreciation to God for the peace in the community knowing full well that it was not by their power but by the Mercies of God. He therefore prayed that peace will not elude the Youths and the community in the year 2025 and beyond.

LET YOUR PROTEST REMAIN PEACEFUL, IKPOBA HILL YOUTHS CHAIRMAN TELLS PROTESTERS

The Chairman of Ikpoba Hill Youths Association, Comrade Kingsley Osemwigie has admonished the protesters in Ikpoba Hill in Ikpoba Okha local government area of Edo State to shun violence as they participate in the nationwide protest which began yesterday, the 1st of November 2024. Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking.
