GOV OKPEBHOLO: NO GOING BACK ON ANTI-CULTISM, ANTI-KIDNAPPING WAR IN EDO

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has reiterated his administration's commitment to fighting cultism, kidnapping, and other crimes in the State, reaffirming that the demolition of criminal hideouts will continue. Governor Okpebholo made this declaration during an interactive session with youths across the 18 local government areas of Edo State at the New Festival Hall in Government House.  He emphasized that his administration will not spare criminals and criminal elements in the state, ensuring that Edo remains safe for all. "We will fight cultism to a standstill, and if that is the only achievement for me as governor of Edo State, I will be satisfied. Members of Ekole Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State has called on the Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the Oba of Benin, Omo N' Oba N' Edo, Uku Akpolo Akpolo, Oba Ewuare 11 to call one Monday Igbinoba to order. EVBIAKAGBA COMMUNITY INSTALS VICTOR IGBINIDUN UYIGUE AS OKAIGHELE.

It was all pump and pageantry last Saturday in Evbiakagba  Community in Ikpoba Okha local government area of Edo state as the community played host to people from all walks of life as Victor IGBINIDUN Uyigue was installed as the Okaighele of the Community. The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State Council, Dr Festus Alenkhe, has called on the Edo State government to dust up the legislation that prohibits the activities of Community Development Association (CDA) and reinforce its full implementation in the state. He made the call while speaking to Journalists at the venue of the four year anniversary celebration of Pinnacle Builders in Benin City the Edo State capital, earlier today.
