Nigerian Library Association (NLA), To Hold 63rd National Conference/ Annual General Meeting


The Nigerian Library Association (NLA), the umbrella body of Librarians and Information Professionals in Nigeria, will be holding its 63rd National Conference and Annual General Meeting in Benin City from the 6th to 11th July 2025, at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Airport Road, Benin City, the Edo State capital.

This was disclosed to newsmen in Benin City, earlier today, when the body paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Dr Tony Ikponmwosa Obaseki, CLN. Chairman, who congratulated Festus Alenkhe, the Edo Council Chairman for the numerous achievements the Council has recorded since his assumption in office, noted that the Library Association last hosted such a meeting in Benin way back in 1974 

"This landmark event will bring together over 1,000 Professionals, Vendors, and Service Providers from Nigeria and around the world. 

He therefore solicited the cooperation and support of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Edo State Council for a successful hosting.
