Your Victory At Supreme Court Is Triumph Of Edo People's Wish- Kingsley Osemwingie

 

The Chairman of Ikpoba Hill Youths Association, Comrade Kingsley Osemwingie has said that the victory of the governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo at the Supreme Court today is a testament of the triumph of the will of the people.


This was contained in a goodwill message signed and made available to the Press today in Benin City the Edo State capital.


According to him, " I extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to you on behalf of the teeming youths, all the good people and residents of Ikpoba Hill on this resounding landmark supreme Court judgment.

" This judgment is a resounding affirmation of the people's mandate for you to govern them due to your proven integrity of purpose, your commitment to the progress and prosperity of our beloved state.

"Your triumph at the various stages of contestation up to the supreme Court is a victory for democracy and a validation of the trust the people of Edo State reposed in your leadership. We celebrate not just your personal victory but the hope and promise of a brighter future for our state which your administration signposts. Your leadership embodies the aspirations of our people, and we are confident that under your guidance, Edo State will experience transformative growth and development.

"As the Chairman of Ikpoba Hill Youths Association, I pledge our unreserved support and solidarity as you embark on your governance journey. We look forward to working closely with you to harness the potential of our youths and empower them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

"Once again, congratulations on this memorable occasion. May God bless you with wisdom, strength, and good health as you navigate our state to the shared vision of a glorious and prosperous state" the statement concluded.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking. Fake palm oil is said to have entered several markets in six states of Nigeria and is still spreading into others.
