The sweetness of political promises is not a guarantee that implementation is assured.

What determines implementation can only be found in the character content of those making the political promises.

A man without character may have the gift of sweet tongue to make promises, when in reality the intention and competence to drive and accomplish such promises are in severe deficit.

When we say Hon Joseph Ikpea is defined by actions, the message is clear-- that is, his promises are not for fun or vote catching tactics.

He has demonstrated evidence of capacity and competence in many spheres of previous and current engagements. He has that rare commendable character content to weave promises into action and deliver same for the good of society and expand the scope of development in all sectors of Edo Central Senatorial district.

Joseph Ikpea has courage, which is a trait of a good leader. Rather than giving excuses for problems or lamenting in the face of challenges, he has proven that the right option is to step up action and move things in the right direction. And because his character reinforces the importance of integrity and honesty, he has no difficulties in mobilizing available human and material resources in accomplishing set goals and this is evidently verifiable both in his past public and private sector engagements.

 This is the source of our shared optimism and hope that the much desired democratic dividends will be accessible to all Edo Central Senatorial district people with the emergence of (Dr) Joseph Ikpea as the Senator representing the good people of Esan land

The time is now, therefore, for all well meaning voters, particularly the youths and the women desirous of development, to be unanimous in the endorsement of a man whose unpretentious developmental blueprint is the needed catalyst for an unprecedented development of Esan land.

Catholic Priest dumps Christianity for traditional religion after completing PhD on rainmaking

Dr Echezona Obiagbaosogu, a Catholic priest, has abandoned Christianity for African traditional religion after his PhD project. His PhD project is said to be on rainmaking in Igboland and he said the insight he gained during his research made him change the course of his spiritual pursuit. According to reports , Obiagbaosogu, who teaches African Traditional Religion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, said he was fascinated by the traditional African spirituality and the art of rainmaking.
