Contractor Assures of Speedy Completion of Benin Asaba Expressway, Calls for Patience, Understanding


The contractor handling the Benin-Asaba Expressway and concessionaire of the road, the Benin Asaba Expressway Consesion Company (BAECC) has assured motorists and property owners on the road corridor and the general public of the speedy completion of the road and appealed for patience and understanding, noting that the company understands the inconveniences caused by the ongoing construction. 
The Contractor made the appeal in a press release to address public concerns regarding the ongoing construction. 

In a statement signed by Dr. Jerry Adeyeri, the Communications Manager of BAECC, the company noted that the seasonal rains has slowed dawn the pace of work as planned.

"The Benin–Asaba Expressway Concession Company (BAECC) is aware of public concerns regarding the pace of ongoing works along the Benin–Agbor axis.We understand the inconveniences caused to motorists, traders, and residents and sincerely empathize with all road users.
"Seasonal rains have affected some aspects of work, but our teams are working tirelessly to maintain progress while prioritizing safety. The 125km project is being delivered in phases, with steady progress already recorded. 

"We appeal for patience and cooperation from road users as well as those who have businesses around these corridors as we work towards delivering a safer, faster, and more reliable expressway that will connect communities, ease transport, and drive economic growth for Edo and Delta States."
