Most times, what one reads and hears from some aspirants campaigning for elective positions do not go beyond social media improbable mental impressions. Most often, they are expressed in graphics and high sounding semantics,  just merely working in the realm of illusion, and  social media platforms are a fertile ground for the flourishing of such fantasy and illusions which are only meant to hoodwink unsuspecting electorates.

‎ To our great relief,  our most distinguished leader, Senator Joseph  Ikpea,  has scaled the fence of fantasy and is operating in the  domain of verifiable people oriented actions.

 Beyond social media razzmatazz, the  social responsibility imparts of senator Joseph  Ikpea precedes his recent election as the senator representing the Edo Central Senatorial District at the national Assemble .

At a time when insecurity posed a significant threat across Esan land, Senator Ikpea stood out among concerned stakeholders who responded decisively. He provided critical support, including operational vehicles and logistics for the establishment of the Edo Central Security Network, Code named, Esan Atanakpa. This intervention demonstrated not only leadership but also a readiness to act when it mattered most.

Long before his emergence as the Senator representing Edo Central,  Ikpea had established a reputation for community engagement and social responsibility. His contributions were not born out of political ambition but from a consistent commitment to improving the welfare of his people.

It was therefore not surprising that  in a relatively short period after  being entrusted with the responsibility of representing his people  through a by-election, that he has not left anyone in doubt that he was prepared and focused with the clear vision for the development of  Edo Central and has since distinguished himself as a responsive representative, focused on bringing the dividends of democracy closer to the people.

The choice before the people therefore is clear: to sustain the momentum of progress and strengthen the voice of Edo Central in the National Assembly.

Together, as we unveil the Senatorial district mega rally in Uromi today, let us move forward with Senator Joe Ikpea an experienced leader, a dependable representative, and a committed advocate for the growth and prosperity of Edo Central.

Authenticate Your Property With Relevant Documents Elder Council Of Amagba Urged Property Owners

The Elder’s Council of Amagba Community in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State on Monday, 9th of March, 2026 requested property owners to meet the property verification and authentication committee with their relevant documents to establish the authenticity of their claims. This was stated in a press statement signed by Omoregbe Osunde and Nosakhare Igbinidu, Chairman and Secretary respectively of the Amagba Community Land Verification Committee. The Committee said that this become important due to the incessant complaints by property owners in Amagba Village of encroachments and re-allocation of their properties. The statement further urged the property owners to meet with the committee at the Amagba Community Town Hall, Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00am to 5.00pm daily.
