"IT WAS THE BEST OF TIMES FOR EDO CENTRAL": THE DICKENS ANALOGY OF DISTINGUISHED SENATOR JOE IGIAGBE IKPEA

Charles Dickens began _A Tale of Two Cities_ with: *"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."* 
For Edo Central, the worst of times is behind us. *The best of times is now* — and it has a name: *Distinguished Senator JOE IGIAGBE IKPEA*.

Dickens wrote about a city torn apart, until men of purpose stood up and gave people hope again. That is exactly the *winning phenomenon* we are witnessing in Esanland today.

# *1. "A Tale of Two Eras"*
There was an Edo Central of neglect. Of silence in Abuja. Of promises without presence. 
Today, we have an Edo Central of roads, empowerment, youth engagement, and federal projects. 
Senator Ikpea is *the senator of the people*. He is *more viable, more appropriate, more adequate, more feasible, more practical, more fitting, more applicable, more compatible, and more proper* for the Red Chamber. A *promise keeper* and a man of trust. He has done it before, and he will do greater than ever.

# *2. "It Was the Season of Light"*
Dickens spoke of darkness turning to light. 
Under Senator Ikpea, the light is on in our communities. He has the vision to turn Edo Central into *a modern London and a mega city* — not by grammar, but by work. 
Like Sydney Carton who gave his all for his people, Senator Ikpea is giving his all for Esanland.

# *3. "The People United"*
Dickens showed that when people rise together, no power can stop them. 
That is why today, other political parties have *cross-carpeted*. In Edo Central and Edo State at large there is *no opposition party again*. It is *one voice, one mind, one heart*. 
Chinua Achebe said it too: *"When the center holds, things do not fall apart."* Our center is holding.

#THE CALL*
Dickens ended with hope: *"It is a far, far better thing that I do..."* 
For us, it is a far better thing that we do now.

*Everybody in Edo Central should come en-masse and vote him back come 2027*, so that he can do more for his people. 
To continue the roads. To finish the projects. To complete the dream of a mega city.

*Re-elect Distinguished Senator JOE IGIAGBE IKPEA for Senate, Red Chamber, 2027.* 
Because this truly is *the best of times for Edo Central*.

Edo Needs Policies To Enhance Security, Stimulate Food Sufficiency - Engr Peter Igbinigie Idahosa,

The Oredo East constituency candidate of the Labour Party   (LP) in the 2023 Edo House Of Assembly election, Comrade Engr Peter Igbinigie Idahosa, has said that Edo State House Of Assembly needs to formulate policies that would enhance the current Security architecture so as to Stimulate food sufficiency in the state.
